Contest Recap • Goal was to increase Facebook “likes” and collect emails. • Through promotion on SourceMedia Group websites and Facebook mentions to SourceMedia Group Facebook pages, users were directed to The United Way of East Central Iowa’s Facebook page to enter the contest. – All participants must first “like” the page in order to enter. – All participants provided name and email with option to opt- in to receive emails from The United Way of East Central Iowa. • One winner was awarded with 2 tickets to the Iowa vs. Penn State game on October 20. Tickets were donated by SourceMedia Group.

The Results • 241 New Likes – Started contest with 843 “Likes” – Ended contest with 1,084 likes • 263 Submissions in Contest • 144 people opted-in to receive emails from you (55% opt-in rate) • Most popular week on page = September 30 – The week that the most people were talking about your page. The contest helped increase your overall reach and virility as more people talked about your page during the contest – During the contest, The new likes per week and number of people talking about your page increased.
