Voting in the presidential election can be a pain if your out of town for college. These easy steps will show you that filling out your absentee ballot is much more convenient than you think.

  1. 1. How To Cast Your Vote While Out Of Town For College
  2. 2. Step 1: Know Your Candidates Voting is not just a right but it’s also a huge responsibility and duty to your country, Make sure to know your candidates before voting so you are not basing yout choice on the opinion of others.
  3. 3. Step 2: Go to a school voting representative or do your own online research on how to fill out and submit your absentee ballot. Make Sure that you are elidgable to vote before filling out your absentee bqallot. Also call your county representatives office to find out when your deadline is to get your ballot in.   4. 4. Step 3: Make Sure To fill out Your Ballot with all of the Correct Information! If you make errors or typos on your ballot it is likely THAT YOUR VOTE WILL NOT BE CASTED FOR THE ELECTION.
  5. 5. Step 4: Mail Your Ballot Ballots Must Be sent in 7 says prior to your home towns voting date. So make sure to mail your vote to your county officials office no later than a week in advance!
  6. 6. Step 6: Be Proud That You Voted! Voting is a huge right that many people around the world do not get to experience. We should all appreciate that we live in a country where our opinion is so important to the Government!
