  5. 5. Crawling and Indexing Crawling: Create a copy of all the visited pages for later processing by a search engine that will index the downloaded pages to provide fast searches. Google’s web crawler has the username googlebot Indexing: Google determines the content of each page (e.g. PR, keywords) and stores static information about those pages in an index. Serving: Process of returning search results that are relevant and match the user query
