The MV800 has a 5x (26-130 mm eq) zoom lens, maximumaperture of f/3.3, 16MP sensor and ISO 80-3200. What distinguishes it from the legions of othersmall, slim compact cameras on the market is the innovative hinged 3-inch touchscreen LCD.Designed for perfectly grabbing those MySpace angles, Samsung has leveraged their renownedtouchscreen division, and put a capacitive screen in the camera, rather than the older resistive.
These are the same types of screen as found in iPhones and other smartphones, and are moreaccurate than their resistive cousins.Seeing as everyone is hopping on the 3D bandwagon these days, the MV800 does have some3D functionality, theres a 3D mode and panorama can also be shot in 3D, but we dont knowhow this will work. It might be in a similar vein to Panasonic Lumix FZ150 which can selectimages from a panorama that are appropriately spaced apart in order to construct a 3D image. Finally, presented without comment, is Pose Guide: Capture the Perfect Portrait with Ease The built in Pose Guide function advises users how to best get into position with line drawings on the LCD screen, so consumers can capture the optimum image from any angle. The device also provides the perfect picture in real time, with the easy-to-navigate Photo Editor function, allowing users to edit and rotate the image on the move. Loved ones and friends will also appreciate the Beauty Shot feature which edits out any imperfections, resulting in a flawless photo one can treasure and share forever. If youre looking for a slightly more business-like camera, the WB750 is a compact-ultrazoomwith an 18x lens which runs the equivalent of 24-432 mm. The camera takes 12.1MP shots usinga proprietary BSI (Back Side Illuminated) CMOS sensor, which Samsung claims reduces noiseand distortion, and this is the first time theyve put one in a compact camera. The WB750 is capable of capturing 10 frames per second in high speed mode, recording videoat 1080p quality, and while filming you can still snap photos at 10MP.
This camera also carries a wide array of panorama modes, which Samsung describes as: Action Panorama, for example, tracks a moving person or object with a static background to record movement within a single, still photo, whereas the Live Panorama function allows users to easily capture large groups of people simply by holding down the shutter button and sweeping the camera across the scene. The 3D Panorama, works to bring photos to life even further, using one lens and one sensor to create a 3D image, to give family and friends a more realistic appreciation of the photographer’s trip when they return home.Unfortunately, we dont have pricing or availability on either model.
