  1. 1. Welcome to Mrs. Ribblett’s and Mrs. Zelger’s Room We are very excited to work with your child this year!
  2. 2. <ul><li>School Hours </li></ul><ul><li>A.M. arrival 8:30 – 8:50 dismissal – 11:25 </li></ul><ul><li>P.M. arrival 12:45 dismissal - 3:25 </li></ul><ul><li>(car riders are picked up in the lobby) </li></ul><ul><li>Transportation </li></ul><ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Each students should wear the provided nametag the first few days of school with the student’s home bus number on the back. </li></ul></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><ul><li>A note from the parent is needed for any transportation changes. </li></ul></ul></ul></ul>
  3. 3. Excused Absences <ul><li>If your child is ill, please let the office know in the morning. </li></ul><ul><li>If you need a Pre-arranged Absence Form: Elementary , you can get one from the office or from the District’s webpage. </li></ul>
  4. 4. School Dress and Materials <ul><li>Please have you child wear clothing that he or she can manipulate independently in the restroom. </li></ul><ul><li>Refer to the school’s Handbook. </li></ul><ul><li>Students need a bookbag that is large enough to hold the Take Home Folder. </li></ul><ul><li>Paint shirt </li></ul><ul><li>Please, NO extra pencils, markers, crayons, etc. </li></ul>

Bag – of - Books <ul><li>Eventually, students will bring home a Bag- of- Books. </li></ul><ul><li>2 student selected books </li></ul><ul><li>One book will be on your child’s independent reading level. </li></ul><ul><li>The other book will be a Wish Book. </li></ul><ul><li>A third alphabet book may or may not be chosen. </li></ul><ul><li>Daily Homework </li></ul>
  6. 6. Report Cards and Conferences <ul><li>Report cards 2 times a year – Jan. and June </li></ul><ul><li>Conferences 2 times a year – Nov. and May </li></ul>
  7. 7. School Closings or Delays <ul><li>The District will call you. </li></ul><ul><li>Check the District’s website. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Holidays and Birthdays <ul><li>2 class parties – December and the end of the year. </li></ul><ul><li>Send in a note IF sending in a class treat. </li></ul><ul><li>PLEASE, NO PEANUT ITEMS. </li></ul>
