Mentors<br />To put it in clearer terms, us mentors are here to in some way better you guys and gals.<br />So ask us questions about:<br />What colleges to apply to and how to tailor that application<br />What classes to take Junior and Senior year<br />What steps to take before applying to college<br />Etc.<br />
  7. 7. Sure you can ask us about classes, college or tests, but remember that we’re here for anything!<br />Relationships – Cupid’s arrows have struck your mentors once or twice. We’ve been around the bend before so let your questions fly.<br />Life – We may not know the answer (it’s not 42), but that doesn’t mean we can’t help you look!<br />Friends and Family – Troubles with friends or the old folks? Let’s talk about it.<br />Careers – It’s part of our job to help you search for yours. What’s up?<br />But wait…there’s more!<br />
  8. 8. Mentors will make and send out bi-weekly modules ranging from topics like:<br />How to improve at public speaking<br />How to find research opportunities<br />Resume Building<br />Preparing for the AP and SAT tests<br />And more!<br />Modules<br />

Mentees will be asked to fill out mid-program evaluations of the program as a whole and of their mentors.<br />We will use this information to improve CompassPoint to better serve YOUR needs.<br />We also expect all mentees to take complete advantage of all the resources CP can offer.<br />Mentees<br />

Through CompassPoint, we hope that mentees can develop a set of skills applicable in your life.<br />CompassPointalso seeks to help mentees expand their experiences and knowledge base. <br />Through guidance and exposure to new opportunities, we hope mentees can take away as much from CompassPointas we have to give.<br />Mastery<br />
