History of Ghana <ul><li>About 1300 several Ghanaian tribes migrated to the coastal region of Ghana (including the Ga which came to Accra) </li></ul><ul><li>1471 Arrival of Portuguese, then Holland, England, Sweden, and Denmark. Bringing there own disruptions to the economy and social fabric of Ghana </li></ul><ul><li>Ghana becomes a landing strip for Allied forces. The carpenters are employed in building and repairing airplanes </li></ul><ul><li>Ghana gains independence after becoming economically stable </li></ul>
