  2. 2. How did it all start? <ul><li>The group came about by the team having a little money that was used to top-up the toy appeal in 2003. </li></ul>By 2004 the group had a bank account and had formed a constitution with charitable aims.

Raising the Money <ul><li>The group has organised various events over the past few years to raise money, some of these events have been- </li></ul><ul><li>Cake Mornings </li></ul><ul><li>Soup Lunches </li></ul><ul><li>Car Boot </li></ul><ul><li>Raffles </li></ul><ul><li>Christmas mince pie and quiz mornings </li></ul>

Donations Received <ul><li>The group has received donations from various people and organisations- </li></ul><ul><li>National Provisional Grand Lodge </li></ul><ul><li>L N S Garage, St Asaph </li></ul><ul><li>Supporting Children’s Team </li></ul><ul><li>Lion’s Club </li></ul><ul><li>Donation’s from Various members of staff </li></ul>
  5. 5. Monies Raised and Spent <ul><li>To date the group has raised </li></ul><ul><li>£11,910 </li></ul><ul><li>To date the group has spent </li></ul><ul><li>£10,761 </li></ul>
  6. 6. Who Benefits <ul><li>Disadvantaged families within the Conwy Borough area who are supported by the Children and Families Department. </li></ul>

Grants <ul><li>Family Outings Grant from the Conwy Voluntary Services Council </li></ul><ul><li>Trip to the Zoo – 13 Families </li></ul><ul><li>Trip to the Sun Centre – 5 Families </li></ul><ul><li>Total supported people = 28 Adults </li></ul><ul><li>= 53 Children </li></ul><ul><li>All of the above received £10 travelling expenses </li></ul><ul><li>All-Terrain Wheelchairs </li></ul><ul><li>Secured funding from Sport </li></ul><ul><li>Relief for 2 All-Terrain </li></ul><ul><li>Wheelchairs </li></ul>The Community Foundation in Wales Y Sefydliad Cymunedol yng Nghymru
  8. 8. Christmas Hampers <ul><li>241 families have benefited from Christmas Hampers since 2005 </li></ul><ul><li>Total of - </li></ul><ul><li>= 292 Adults </li></ul><ul><li>= 601 Children </li></ul>
