HOW TO CONVERT YOUR
BLOGPOST TO PRESENTATION

We have done more presentations than
most of people in their whole lifetime.

Thanks to that experience we can proudly
admit that we’re pretty good at it.

Here’s a simple guideline on how much time you
need to create an awesome presentation.

STEP ONE
Create a copy.

Read the blog post again and divide it into slides.
The rule of thumb here is not to exceed 3 lines of 30pt
text per slide – you will quickly start throwing things away.

Duration:
This part usually takes 1 hour
per 750-1000 words.

STEP TWO
Basic design work.

Coming up with the design can be a bit
tricky for non-designers, so here’s a tip:
go to Slideshare and browse different
categories for 15-20 minutes.

This way you’ll get basic idea of how you
want your presentation to look like.

Best designs use custom fonts, color,
and backgrounds, so looking for these
will also take time.

Duration:
between 2 and 8 hours.

STEP THREE
A little bit of homework.

Here’s the step that we all love. Making sure that all
details work together into one,
coherent piece of art.

Remember to:
• check the spelling
• add links with predefined UTMs
• add your company branding (clickable logos)

…and
• think about where it’s best to place CTA
• or social CTAs
• create word bites and social media content

All of these may seem like a drag but
they’re essential to make the best use
of your presentation.
