  2. 2. I am currently teaching grade 7 and 8, age 12 - 13 students at a good junior high school in Hai Phong City of Vietnam. What made me feel very happy in my job is that many of my students achieved prizes in English competitions at city level in the past few years.
  3. 3. At the school, I am designated to lead on the school English extra - curriculum activities. I have founded many clubs so far such as singing club, playing club, story-telling club, drawing club, etc. Being involved in the Connecting Classroom project in a role of school coordinator, I feel very much fascinated about the project because it provides our school, teachers and students with opportunities to get to know more about others countries, their cultures and people.  
  4. 4. Working with teachers from Jakarta, Indonesia, we had a web-conference for my students with their Indonesian peers from 11 schools in Jakarta. Following on the success of the first web-conferencing, I arranged another web-talk with students from Springfield in Portsmouth, UK.
  5. 5. Although this is the first international project I have been involved, I am very keen to make friendship with teachers from other countries and would love to share my experiences on the project and teaching.

Highlighting Activities ( over the first year of the project ) - Creating international partnership with schools in Portsmouth ( UK ) and Jakarta ( Indonesia ) - Sharing teaching and learning methods and experience with students and teachers from Portsmouth and Jakarta. - Embedding global dimension in the curriculum (Art, Music, English, Geography, Technology, Biology) and extra- curriculum activities.
