Here are some slides introducing my.Lboro, a new website for Loughborough University students. my.Lboro tries to gather together in one place all of the key information you need on a day-to-day basis as a Loughborough student. We are looking into staff facilities too, and the slides highlight some possible developments that we would appreciate feedback on.

  • From the start of the academic year, students have been able to view the teaching timetable for their programme part. For semester 2, a pilot has been underway with some Schools to enable students to view individual student timetables. We hope to make individual timetables available to most students for Semester 1 2012/13, although this depends upon accurate and timely student module and group information. Future timetabling development includes:a flexible “custom” facility to show the timetable for one or more module;Links with Google Calendar;Integration into the student portal to show today’s events.
  • In previous years returning students had to attend a re-registration event on the Sunday before the start of term. This year, you were able to re-register online. This is an example screen from the re-registration facility, used to indicate your data protection consents. If you want to make changes to some of your personal information during the year, such as a change of term-time address, you are now able to do this online using the new self-service facilities.
