  3. 3. Ingredients <ul><li>½ cup diced salt pord </li></ul><ul><li>1 small minced onion </li></ul><ul><li>1 pint fresh lima beans </li></ul><ul><li>3 cups water </li></ul><ul><li>2 tablespoons flour </li></ul><ul><li>(continued on next page) </li></ul>
  4. 4. Ingredients (continued) <ul><li>3 cups scalded milk </li></ul><ul><li>1 teaspoon finely-chopped parsley </li></ul><ul><li>Croutons </li></ul>
  5. 5. Directions Page 1 <ul><li>Put salt pork into sauce pan and cook until crisp. </li></ul><ul><li>Remove pieces of meat and cook onion in the fat. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Directions Page 2 <ul><li>Add lima beans and water and cook until beans are tender. </li></ul><ul><li>Thicken with flour which has been rubbed smooth with just enough water to moisten it. </li></ul>
