  1. 1. Anne Frank Final Name: #1 due date: #2 due date: 1. Using the information you found on your Webquest, determine if Mr. Frank would have been able to save Anne, Margot, or Peter after he himself was liberated. Use your timelines of deaths, the locations of the camps, and the timelines of liberations. Armed with this information, create a rendition of your opinion using MovieMaker: this can be in written paragraph form, a graphic organizer (i.e. Venn diagram), multiple timeline format, or another format you have had approved by Ms. Ites. You will be graded using the following rubric: 80 pts total 20- 16 pts. 15 - 11 pts. 10 - 6 pts. 5 - 0 pts. instructions followed instructions completely followed instructions majority of the time partially followed instructions followed few of given instructions accuracy facts used were in- depth and accurate facts used were accurate majority of facts used were accurate majority of facts used were inaccurate completeness activity thoroughly completed and in- depth activity completed activity marginally completed activity not completed; seems rushed personalization creative twist on activity; can see the student's self-stamp activity contains appropriate creative elements activity is typical with few creative elements little to no creativity shown in activity 2. Next place yourself in Anne’s shoes. Have your family move somewhere into hiding; the location has a maximum of 3 rooms (besides the bathroom). Explain why you’ve been forced to hide, where you’ve chosen your location, and how you will get supplies. You need to include family friends or someone from your neighborhood in your hiding place. Determine who your “helpers” will be and how you will make contact with them. Finally, determine the following questions: • What difficulties would you encounter living in such close quarters with your family? • What difficulties would you encounter living with the others (neighbor or friend)? • Do you think there would be any unforeseen conflicts after you’ve been there for a while? Explain. • If there was a slim chance of escape outside, would you leave your hiding place? Would you do this alone or with the others? Why? Complete this in the form of your choosing (written paragraphs, created diorama, graphic organizer, timeline, etc) and present it to the class. You will be graded with the following rubric. 80 pts total 20- 16 pts. 15 - 11 pts. 10 - 6 pts. 5 - 0 pts. instructions followed instructions completely followed instructions majority of the time partially followed instructions followed few of given instructions accuracy facts used were in- depth and accurate facts used were accurate majority of facts used were accurate majority of facts used were inaccurate completeness activity thoroughly completed and in- depth activity completed activity marginally completed activity not completed; seems rushed personalization creative twist on activity; can see the student's self-stamp activity contains appropriate creative elements activity is typical with few creative elements little to no creativity shown in activity
