Population: 560,631 in habitants (2006) Weather The hottest months are July and August and the coldest are usually December and February, in the winter months the average temperature varies between maximum of 22.8ºC and minimum of 13ºC. GEOGRAPHICAL DATA Malaga is situated on the south west Europe, it is one of the most southern provinces of EU. Located 200 km from Seville, and 150km from Granada–Sierra Nevada.
  4. 4. I.1 Introduction Nature Malaga’s Mountains were declared as a Natural Park in 1989. This area contains over 230 different varieties of vegetation and more than 160 species of vertebrates. Such as: Deer, Wild boar,etc.. Sports Thanks to its privileged climate, Malaga has become one of the favorite tourist destinations both for practicing sport and for organizing top line sporting events. Many sports installations are in the nature, almost every sports can be practiced in our city: GOLF , swimming, sailing, diving, windsurfing, fishing competitions, canoeing, trekking, tennis, paddle, athletics, cycling, archery or equestrian sports.
