Evernote is an excellent service: it can be used to store a database of many different types of documents and notes such as a collection of recipes, ideas for projects, rough drafts for articles, a "how to" collection of informational articles, lists of goals and "ToDo" lists, and much more.

But when you want to export documents from Evernote to other formats, this isn't always an easy task. Basically, the main problem is that the Evernote client does not have this function build in and you need to use either "Print to PDF" or "Adobe Acrobat PDF" for each of notes and that is quite a cumbersome task - especially if you need to extract multiple notes.

Here is how to convert files from Evernote to PDF and archive them to Dropbox or some other cloud service...

  1. 1. Here are short instructions on how you can use cloudHQ to export all your notes from Evernote into PDF format and save them into your Dropbox, Box, Google Drive or SkyDrive account.
  2. 2. Go to cloudHQ.net
  3. 3. Click on “Free Trial”
  4. 4. The sync wizard will appear.
  5. 5. Now, just drag the Evernote icon to the empty box on the left.
  6. 6. Click on “Sign Up with Google Account” and you will be forwarded to the Google page. Click on “Allow.” You will then be prompted to sign in with your Google ID.
