facilitate to make things happen to make the world a better place. When
my carbon footprint is no longer here, I can say, I can rest in peace, like

available to customers who want to ofset their energy bill by generating

TOU - total usable ofset “The Hawaiian Electric Companies are ofering
an optional Time-of-Use rate program that will charge customers less for
power used during the day - when solar energy production is highest - and
more at night. Developed under the direction of the Hawaii Public Utilities
Commission, these rates encourage customers to use electricity when solar
power is abundant and enable cost-efective integration of renewable

4. DR - demand response “Demand response provides an opportunity for
consumers to play a signifcant role in the operation of the electric grid by
reducing or shifting their electricity usage during peak periods in response
to time-based rates or other forms of fnancial incentives.” — U.S.
Department of Energy, Ofce of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability
(OE). “Hawaiian Electric Company's Demand Response (DR) program
rewards residential and business customers for temporarily reducing their
electricity during peak energy periods.” — HECO

programs to address the cost benefts of integrating distributed energy resources onto
the grid
➢ Colorado PUC and Maine PUC address the regulatory framework for developing

I sometimes catch myself looking up at the Moon, remembering the changes of
fortune in our long voyage, thinking of the thousands of people who worked to
bring the three of us home. I look up at the Moon and wonder, when will we be
going back, and who will that be?

As the history of the mission on the NASA website says:
Ground controllers in Houston faced a formidable task.
Completely new procedures had to be written and tested in the simulator
before being passed up to the crew.
The navigation problem had to be solved.
As anyone who has seen the incredible movie Apollo 13 knows, one of the
biggest challenges of the mission was making course corrections.
