Our system will go out and look for any other devices in the same ship-to location that have less than 15-25% toner left to batch orders. We will auto send toner to each location that will specify contact, department, etc. UCI will track usage over 60/90/120 day period which will give us a snapshot of average usage and allow us to make inventory adjustments based on device volume. </li></ul><ul><li>The whole point of the program is to reduce storing toners and instead benefit from a one in one out program. PrintFleet operates through outbound communication only, and communicates to the printing devices through SNMP. Collected data is sent through HTTPS and is 128-bit encrypted using SSL protocol. </li></ul><ul><li>PrintFleet software only collects information on network attached devices. It cannot track information on user behavior. PrintFleet offers specific documentation in regards to network security and specific documents to supply compliancy acts such as HIPPA. </li></ul>
  9. 9. <ul><li>Software Implementation - what is involved? </li></ul><ul><li>Installation Requirements </li></ul><ul><li>Hardware: Business Operations Server, Print Server or Desktop computer attached to the network that is powered on 24/7. </li></ul><ul><li>Operating System: Windows 2000/XP, Windows Server 2003. </li></ul><ul><li>Network Card: 100 MB or higher. </li></ul><ul><li>RAM: 256MB or higher. </li></ul><ul><li>Port 443 (HTTPS) or 80 (HTTP) or port 21 and /20 (FTP) must be open for automatic transmission of collected data. </li></ul><ul><li>Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Installed ( </li></ul><ul><li>Do NOT install the DCA on a laptop. There may be issues of unreliable access when using wireless connectivity. Also do not try to install on a Mac. </li></ul><ul><li>Do not install on VMWare (virtual machine) </li></ul><ul><li>If you plan to use the DCA to collect data via a VPN, due to an extended transmission, there is a risk of data loss. </li></ul>
