1. 1. The Story Of My Life Samuel Unger
 2. 2. "Flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." - Douglas Adams
 3. 3.

Although it’s kind of funny, this quote is a very good description of life.

To me, “flying” in the quote represents your goal, and “learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss” represents taking chances to reach that goal.

 4. 4. Birth
 5. 5. I was born on March 19, 1998, in Kingston, New York, at Benedictine hospital. Yeah, it was a catholic hospital, but we were in a rush.
 6. 6.

My earliest memory was when I was three years old. My father, foster brother Karl, and I were fishing under a bridge in New York. My line was hit by a twenty-five pound carp. Then Karl came over and reeled in the fish. We took some pictures, and let the fish go.

 7. 7. My Family My Mother- Andrea Barbara D’Arpe My Father- Gregory Lawrence Unger My Brother- Joshua David Unger Me- Samuel Kaine Unger
 8. 8. A Teacher I Will Never Forget

I will never forget my first grade teacher, Ms. Finnerty. In first grade I was in Dingman Delaware Primary School, in Pennsylvania. I was basically the teacher’s pet. I always had good grades. When I won the first grade spelling bee, she picked me up, and kissed me on the cheek. Being six years old, I of course wiped off the old woman cooties, and ran to my parents. That’s why I will never forget her.

 9. 9. A Painful Incident

When I lived in Pennsylvania, I enjoyed sledding a whole lot. So, when a big snowstorm hit up north, I called my friend over and we went sledding in my yard. My friend did a nice trick and sledded through a few trees, missing a nice sized rock. I attempted to copy his ride. I failed miserably. When I went down the hill, I turned left instead of right and had to choose either running into the rock or a tree. I took the tree, and looking back on it that decision probably saved my manhood. So I ran into the tree, temporarily crippled myself (horribly sprained ankle), and hobbled into my house. Twenty minutes of Ice-Pak and Super Mario later, I felt fine.

 10. 10. The Meanest Thing I Ever Did

The meanest thing I ever did was probably when I drove my parent’s Volkswagen off of a 12-15 ft. cliff. We had come back to the house because we forgot the towels for going to the pool. My parents mistakenly left the car on when they went inside. My brother then took my quarter and threw it into the driver’s seat. I leaped into the front of the car, diving towards the pedals to retrieve my change, and accidentally moved the stick shift into drive. Forcing our poor Volkswagen to fly off of a cliff, resembling something from the tornado scene in the “Wizard of Oz”. And then instead of a witch to land on, we hit a lilac tree. Oops.

Now Das Auto.

 11. 11. My Life Goals

My three life goals would be:

To get through college

To get a well paying job

To retire successfully

 12. 12. As The Years Go By

In five years I think I will be working hard at my schoolwork in high school. In twenty years I think I will be at my well paying job, working hard. In fifty years, I will be, hopefully, enjoying my retirement.

 13. 13.

WANTED: DREAM CAR

2007 Noctis Black

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

 14. 14.

WANTED: DREAM HOUSE

New England coast. Three+ stories, five bedroom, four bath, modern kitchen, hardwood flooring, and accessories.

 15. 15.

WANTED: DREAM PET

Purebred German Shepherd, active, loving, friendly, has to be good with other dogs and people.

 16. 16.

WANTED: NEW VOLKSWAGEN FOR MY MOTHER

White, convertible. Good mileage. With apology note.

 17. 18. Rules For Living

If I had to live by three rules for the rest of my life they would be eat healthy, exercise daily, and have fun. Eating healthy and exercising because I don’t want to be a couch potato sucking down Coke and cheese doodles all day. Have fun because everyone needs some good memories. These rules say that I am an active, health-conscious person who wants to live a long and exciting life. I’m not going to be drinking wheat grass all day, but I’ll still have a fit diet. I think these rules would work for some people, because there are just some individuals who don’t want to eat healthy, or don’t want to exercise. And some people don’t even want to have fun, hence the flakes who want to sit and have tea and eat crumpets with the Queen all day.

 18. 19.

I am

Baseball, Music, and Animals

I like sports and nature.

Comedy, Love, and Friends are important to me.

I am very intelligent.

I can be a smart mouth about some things.

But I am knowledgeable about many adult situations.

I love jokes and riddles.

I dislike my brother in several situations.

I enjoy my pets.

This is me. I am!

 19. 20. My Parents Biography Of Me*

On the evening of March 19 th 1998 as we held you in our arms for the first time, all of our hopes for your future transcended from our hearts to you.

 20. 21.

We wished for you a full and healthy life. That you would grow into a fine man and that all your hopes and dreams would come true.

 21. 22.

Nearly thirteen years later you seem to be traveling on the right path to succeed in fulfilling these goals.

Samuel, you have many strengths that will enable you to achieve whatever you choose for your future.

You have been blessed with a great mind, don’t waste it.

 22. 23.

Your sense of fair play and sportsmanship will help you build strong relationships in the future.

The ability to see humor all around you will get you through life’s many challenges.

Most importantly, your willingness to share your heart and place others before you.

 23. 24.

These are the qualities that create great leaders. Blend them carefully and the world will be yours for the taking!

 27. 31.

I would like to dedicate this project to my father. He has played an important part in my life. He has encouraged me to take on sports, get a higher education, and just be a better person overall. My dad has done so much for me and my family, I can’t thank him enough.
