functions. And using the touchpad is not that difficult at all.
Scrolling across the touchpad lets you see your documents
and web pages easily as you just have to drag your fingers
for moving page up and down or left and right. You don’t
have to move your pointer over the scroll bars interrupting
the typing flow.

Below is the method and tips of using the
touchpad:
•Go to Start> Control Panel. While in some versions of Windows you can find it
under Settings.
•Then choose Mouse. Click on Hardware and Sound option if you are in the
Category view in the newer versions of Windows. Afterwards, under Devices and
Printers select Mouse.
•Now choose the Device Settings tab. While on some systems it may be labeled as
Touchpad and will have the logo of red Synaptics on the tab.
• Either click on Settings or Advanced.
•Next, to scrolling click on the plus sign available and then select One-Finger
Scrolling.
• Choose the boxes labeled as Enable Horizontal Scrolling and Enable Vertical
Scrolling and then click on Apply button.

•From the left menu click on Scrolling. Drag the slider towards the left or right for setting your
scroll speed. Then click on OK.
• Along with the right edge of the touchpad drag your fingers as well for scrolling up and
down, you will see the screen moving in the direction of your motion.
• For scrolling towards the left or right of the screen drag your fingers across the bottom of
the touchpad.
• Go to Device Settings tab after making further adjustments to the touchpad’s scroll actions.
