CCHS Winter Formal 2014 Information

  1. 1. Winter Formal 2014 { Information and Dress Code

Event Information     Rancho Bernardo Inn – Aragon Ballroom Saturday, February 8th 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm (door close from 8:00 – 10:00) Tickets will be sold from the Activities Office and ASB Classroom at LUNCH ONLY from January 28th to February 6th       $85 per couple from January 28th – January 31st $90 per couple from February 3rd – 6th Tickets will NOT be sold after February 6th All students must bring a student ID for admittance Off Campus Guest Pass applications will be limited to 100 (“first come, first served”) and can be found on the CCHS homepage or ASB Facebook page. The last day to submit an application to the Dean’s Office is February 5th Please review the electronic bid prior to attending the Winter Formal
  3. 3. Dress Code: Formal Attire      Dress code regulations must be followed by all students attending – current CCHS students and off-campus guests Guidelines will be strictly enforced. Students not in compliance will not be able to attend the dance and refunds will not be issued A student may be given the opportunity to enter the dance, if he/she is willing to be in compliance with the “CCHS Loaner” clothing option. (CCHS Loaner clothing is defined as athletic shorts and/or t-shirt.) Please stop by the Dean's Office if there are any questions about the appropriateness of your attire. As a reminder, attire must represent the modesty acceptable for a Catholic school dance.
  4. 4. Gentlemen        (as noted on the electronic bid) Dress shoes with socks Dress pants Suit or Tuxedo (dress shirt, tie, jacket, belt) Shirts must be buttoned and tucked in at all times No earrings, hats, costumes, or canes Hair should be well groomed Clean shaven

Ladies      (as noted on the electronic bid) Dress shoes only No plunging necklines or low backs No bare midriffs/sides Dresses must be of appropriate length (no shorter than 5 inches above the middle of the knee) and not excessively form fitting. Slits on dresses and skirts must be modest and adhere to length requirements.
  8. 8. Ladies Dress Code Information Continued    There are many beautiful dresses available that meet CCHS requirements and which are appropriate for a Catholic high school dance. If you are altering your dress to meet our requirements, fabric inserts must be sewn, not pinned, on the dress. Dresses must meet requirements without cover-ups (shawls, jackets, sweaters, etc).
