Easy Books <ul><li>Easy books use illustrations (pictures) to tell much of the story. </li></ul><ul><li>The illustrations in Easy books sometimes tell different parts of the story than the words. </li></ul><ul><li>Illustrations are very important in Easy books and are sometimes more important than the words! </li></ul><ul><li>Easy books are ‘make-believe’ stories from the author’s imagination. </li></ul>

  42. 42. Who is the author ? The author is the person who writes the story. <ul><li>The author writes the words of a story. Sometimes the author draws the pictures, too. Then you say the person is the author and illustrator. The author always writes the words. </li></ul>
