8. 8. VIRTUAL FORUM

Virtual Forum – this has begun! Its for discussions, ideas, questions, answers… please click on http://forum.citizenschools.org.uk . It’s just starting off so please tell other Citizenship practitioners about it and check back regularly!

It can be used as a place to SHARE RESOURCES as well… we’ve set up sub-forums using the programme of study headings so you can search, upload and download easily. See http://forum.citizenschools.org.uk

Click here to visit the forum!
 9. 9.

We could begin an online map of London schools and who the Citizenship staff are in each one so people can connect up more organically.

School linking is one of the aims of the Citizen Schools Alliance; from September 2009 Ben is launching 3 pilot schemes in east london, west london and south london to bring a range of diverse schools together. He is about to begin a programme to recruit schools for this – get in touch at www.citizenschools.org.uk if you are interested.

Discuss these possibilities in the forum – visit http://forum.citizenschools.org.uk

LOCAL SCHOOL LINKING
 10. 10.

From the feedback you’ve given, maybe these could be based around different themes

E.g. one could be an NGO marketplace/carousel, exemplifying what’s on offer for teachers / another could be a student-led meeting with their projects, experiences / another could focus on developing a coherent pan-london strategy for Citizenship

To help shape these, please communicate your opinions and ideas on the forum – http://forum.citizenschools.org.uk ... Thank you!

CENTRALISED TERMLY MEETINGS
