Chuck Ager: Geophysical Engineer

 1. 1. Dr. Charles Ager
Geophysical Engineer
2. 2. About Chuck Ager
Dr. Charles Ager is an accomplished geophysical engineer with over forty years experience in the mining industry. ChuckAgercombines an impressive academic background with international business development experience in the founding of several successful mining enterprises.
Chuck Ager is currently the Chairman and Founder of Nanominerals Corp (NMC).
3. 3. Chuck Ager’s Innovations
As an innovative businessman, researcher and problem solver, Chuck Ager is recognized as the owner of several patents/intellectual properties with applications pertaining to the mining industry. Chuck Ager developed the satellite/electron microscope technology that led to the discovery of a new class of gold deposits in the Southwestern United States. Chuck Ager also owns patent/intellectual property rights in support of conducting high resolution gravity surveys in mountainous terrain as well as geophysics/intellectual property rights which assist in locating gold deposits in the Mother Lode District of California.
4. 4. Chuck Ager the Entrepreneur
Chuck Ager is an entrepreneur whose professionalism motivates him to develop mining projects with social, legal, and environmental integrity. Dr. Chuck Ager has an international reputation as a seasoned expert in all phases of mining - from discovery to production, including finance - while always remaining project focused. Chuck Ager is a demonstrated problem solver with voluminous international experience in the resource sector, including geothermal energy, oil/gas, coal, copper, lead-zinc, gold, and other precious metals.
5. 5. Chuck Ager & Geophysical Engineering
Chuck Ager approaches mining exploration through an evaluative process similar to methods used in the oil and gas business. Extensive use of state-of-the-art technology (plate techtonics, satellite imagery, geology, geochemistry, geophysics, mineralogy, metallurgy, electron microscope, economic models, etc.) is a precursor to evaluating a mineral prospect’s economic potential. This evaluation, together with a few drill holes, can then provide an early prediction of the size and economic potential of a target. This leads to maximum discovery for minimum cost. The geotechnical work performed by Dr. Chuck Ager has led to discoveries of oil and gas, industrial minerals, base metals, and precious metals.
6. 6. Nanominerals Corp.
Chuck Ager is currently the Chairman of Nanominerals Corp. Nanominerals Corp was founded by Chuck Ager with offices in Surrey, B.C., Canada and Las Vegas, Nevada, USA with affiliates in London, UK.
Nanominerals Corp utilizes the new science of nanotechnology in the exploration and development of mineral, base metal, and precious metal deposits. The goal of NMC is to focus on the discovery and commercialization of the new-type of nanogold deposits discovered by Chuck Ager. To this end, Chuck Ager has invested his own funds and ten years of his time in developing the mineralogical and metallurgical models for their potential commercialization.
Using the principles of nanotechnology, Nanominerals Corp. (NMC) identifies nanoscale precious metals and nanominerals in geologic samples and uses the new nano-metallurgy to develop processes for their extraction.
7. 7. ABM Mining Group
Prior to founding Nanomineral Corp, Chuck Ager was Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of the ABM Mining Group. Chuck Ager’s executive positions included Chairman of ABM Mining, ABM Gold, Sonora Gold, Goldenbell Resources, and United Resources, and also President of Inca Resources.
With ABM and its subsidiaries, Chuck Ager was responsible for all technical and financial aspects of building and maintaining a medium-sized mining company, including property acquisition, exploration, permitting, developing, production, and finance. With ABM, Chuck Ager developed a large producing gold mine and discovered two other major gold deposits in the Mother Lode, California. While at ABM, Chuck Ager also developed an algorithm that could quantify economic potential of a gold property early in the drilling program. Chuck Ager sold ABM to Northgate Mining in 1988.
8. 8. Chuck Ager’s Discoveries & Patents
Throughout his career as a Geophysical Engineer, Chuck Ager has been a trailblazer in the mining industry. Chuck Ager has discovered and/or participated in the discovery of numerous metal deposits throughout Canada and the United States. He is also the developer and owner of a number of patents and intellectual property rights for technological innovations in the mining field.
Through Nanominerals Corp, Chuck Ager developed ways of using nanotechnology to discover several precious metal deposits. Chuck Ager is also responsible for inventing the satellite/electron microscope technology that has led to the identification of a new class of gold deposits in the Southwestern United States. In addition, Chuck Ager has developed patent/intellectual property for gravity surveys in mountainous terrain and geophysical/intellectual properties for discovering gold deposits in the Mother Lode District of California.
9. 9. Chuck Ager’s Discovieries
Primary Developer
Jamestown Gold Deposit & Mine - Mother Lode District, Jamestown, California: 1986
Primary Discoverer
Glendale Gold Deposits - N. Glendale Basin, Clark County Nevada: 2000
Eldorado Gold Deposit - Eldorado Valley, Clark County, Nevada: 1996
Pine Tree Gold Deposit - Mother Lode District, Mariposa County, California: 1984
Rich Gulch Gold Deposit - Mother Lode District, Plumas County, California: 1980
Participant Discoverer
West Coast Oil & Gas Targets - Underwater Gravity - West Coast Continental Shelf, B.C., Canada: 1977
Hat Creek Coal Deposit - Gravity in Mountains - Hat Creek, B.C., Canada: 1976
Jason Pb-Zn-Ag Deposit - Gravity in Mountains - Yukon Territory, Canada: 1974
10. 10. Chuck Ager’s Patents
Patents
Electronic Measurement Apparatus (Gravity Surveys) - Elevations without line of sight 1979 Patent (USA) 4145817; 1981 Patent (Canada) 1108847
Intellectual Properties
Terrain Correction Algorithm - Calculates accurate gravity effects in mountainous terrain
Gold Deposit Algorithm - Determines gold system size and economic potential early in exploration with few drill holes
Satellite Image Algorithms - Identifies potential exploration targets using satellite and filtering technology
Electron Microscope Technology - Determines metallurgical risk of the new nanogold deposits by conducting a thorough mineralogical profile at micron to nano dimensions
