Christopher Stender is a partner and attorney at Federal Immigration Counselors in Phoenix, Arizona. Licensed to practice law in Connecticut and New York, Christopher Stender speaks both Spanish and German is a member of professional associations such as the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. Founded in 1876, the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) is the largest voluntary state bar organization in the US. Since its creation, NYSBA has consistently helped in the development of the law, shaping and educating both legal professionals and the general public while responding to the changing demands of society. The goal of the NYSBA is to promote jurisprudence, facilitate the administration of justice, support legal reform, and encourage integrity, courtesy, and professional skills among legal practitioners. The New York State Bar Association has worked to boost judicial standards as well as advocated for voluntary pro bono legal services to the poor.
  3. 3. NYSBA  Today, NYSBA has thousands of lawyer members around the US and the world. Historically, presidents Chester A. Arthur and Grover Cleveland were prominent members of the New York State Bar Association. NYSBA promotes diversity in both its membership and leadership as it increases its strengths, adaptability, and capabilities. All members are welcomed regardless of their gender, race, ethnic origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, and physical or intellectual challenges. The New York State Bar Association also provides attorneys with high quality legal education programs. Each year, NYSBA hosts and organizes numerous events, seminars, workshops, and webinars.
