  2. 2. Unit 7• Unit 7: Green Wind Energy. What are the social and environmental impacts of clean energy? Students will develop an understanding of the concepts of electricity. They will identify useful applications and visualize their lives without electrical power. Students will gain some knowledge of the methods of producing electrical power and will understand a little about how different production methods affect individuals, the environment and our society. Students will gain sufficient knowledge to make considered judgments when discussing the advantages and disadvantages of alternative and renewable energy sources.
  3. 3. Unit 8• Generating green energy - making energy work. Students will investigate, design, plan and make an electrical generator that is able to be powered by their solution for Unit 7.
