3. Joshua 24:14-15
14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him
in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods
which your fathers served on the other side of
the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the
LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve;
whether the gods which your fathers served that
were on the other side of the flood, or the gods
of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as
for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
4. Revelation 3:15-16
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold
nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and
neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my
mouth.
5. Numbers 32:1-7
1 Now the children of Reuben and the children
of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and
when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land
of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place
for cattle;
2 The children of Gad and the children of
Reuben came and spake unto Moses, and to
Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the
congregation, saying,
6. 3 Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah,
and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and
Nebo, and Beon,
4 Even the country which the LORD smote
before the congregation of Israel, is a land for
cattle, and thy servants have cattle:
7. 5 Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace
in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy
servants for a possession, and bring us not over
Jordan.
6 And Moses said unto the children of Gad and
to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren
go to war, and shall ye sit here?
7 And wherefore discourage ye the heart of
the children of Israel from going over into the
land which the LORD hath given them?
8. Numbers 32:23
And Moses gave unto them, even to the
children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben,
and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of
Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the
Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of
Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the
coasts, even the cities of the country round
about.
9. Mark 5:1-13
1 And they came over unto the other side of
the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
2 And when he was come out of the ship,
immediately there met him out of the tombs a
man with an unclean spirit,
10. 3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and
no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
4 Because that he had been often bound with
fetters and chains, and the chains had been
plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken
in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
11. 5 And always, night and day, he was in the
mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and
cutting himself with stones.
6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and
worshipped him,
12. 7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What
have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the
most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou
torment me not.
8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man,
thou unclean spirit.
13. 9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he
answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we
are many.
10 And he besought him much that he would
not send them away out of the country.
11 Now there was there nigh unto the
mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
14. 12 And all the devils besought him, saying,
Send us into the swine, that we may enter into
them.
13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And
the unclean spirits went out, and entered into
the swine: and the herd ran violently down a
steep place into the sea, (they were about two
thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
