I recently retired as fire chief from a cutting edge emergency services organization, committed to employee and citizen safety. We provide paramedic service, fire protection, life safety and disaster preparedness services to a west coast community of 79,000. As the leader of an outstanding department I strived to ensure my employees were satisfied and competent in their jobs, and had the best equipment, training and support.
