7. The Shuttle
I came to visit the Loon Lake in The beginning of April and was
surprised to see that the dwellings were separated by a 2 lane
street with little to no shoulder. I was not informed of this during
the reservation process and was told the previous manager had
been fired. The good news is that the new ownership is far more
accommodating. This being said, we are at a family reunion, and
to be segregated from each other would just be silly. I have
rented a small suv that will transport the food and anyone who
would like a lift up or down the street. We plan on having the
shuttle leave about once an hour or as requested. I am asking
that if you have walkie talkies to please bring them, this is going
to be easier than cell phones. The main gathering hub will be the
lodge, which is situated in the center of all the dwellings.
