When an audience is given something as broad and as polysemic as a colour audience members can often get confused and lost within all the meanings that come to mind, for example in the last scene all of these meanings and many more could immediately come to mind.<br />However when the audience member is given something else whether this be a sound or image, the audience can use this to help locate and derive the meaning of the colour (in this example.)<br />
