Lynn Legacy 3.1.4

  1. 2. The finale to the becoming-big-(wo)man-on-campus montage: Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
  2. 3. We all have sorrow
  3. 4. But if we are wise
  4. 5. We know that there's always tomorrow
  5. 6. Lean on me, when you're not strong And I'll be your friend
  6. 7. I'll help you carry on For it won't be long
  7. 8. 'Til I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on
  8. 9. Please swallow your pride If I have things you need to borrow
  9. 10. For no one can fill those of your needs That you don't let show
  10. 11. Lean on me, when you're not strong And I'll be your friend
  11. 12. I'll help you carry on For it won't be long
  12. 13. 'Til I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on
  13. 14. If there is a load you have to bear That you can't carry
  14. 15. I'm right up the road I'll share your load If you just call me
  15. 16. So just call on me brother, when you need a hand We all need somebody to lean on
  16. 17. I just might have a problem that you'd understand We all need somebody to lean on
  17. 18. Lean on me when you're not strong And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry on For it won't be long Till I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on Lean on me...
  18. 19. I've started working on my flower badge.
  19. 20. Brooke offered to make all the pictures for Otieno and I. There were a lot of paintings she needed to make, so it kept her busy.
  20. 21. I finally got my gold badge! I'm all set to go home, start my business, and raise my family now.
  21. 22. Oh, and Brooke did finish those paintings.
  22. 23. And thanks to the snapdragon I'd been sleeping next to when I woke up the first day I can remember and the ones in my pocket, I didn't even have to make any of them!
  23. 24. And with the gold servo Otieno made me a long time ago and my gold sales badge, my business is sure to be a success!
  24. 25. Hmmm... Maybe I'll take up toy-making when that's done...
  25. 26. Also, Natalie's been really nice to me about the whole thing that happened with Ocean and Hummingbird. She even offered to be my roommate.
  26. 27. Natalie. “ What?” Good, you can hear me. Your father could, too, and your mother of course, so I was hoping it'd be passed down to you.
  27. 28. You know I checked the legacy rules to be sure I was right- and living in the same house as her won't violate any rules. But I won't be giving you maxmotives and motivedecay off... it's your decision, really. Live with her as part of the legacy house... Or live on your own and be cheated to your heart's content. _____ I also learned I wasn't supposed to sell anything from the dorm that wasn't bought with the legacy money. I didn't learn this till the end of college, though, so... oops?
  28. 29. “ But she needs a husband to continue the legacy, and she broke up with Ocean.” She doesn't need a husband, just a baby daddy. And there's plenty of time to get her one or the other. In fact, look behind you...
  29. 30. “ So, we all know why we're here.” “ Not really. Why are you here, Otieno? You had nothing to do with it.” “ Good question, Ocean. We needed at least one impartial party here.” “ Impartial? Yeah right.” “ Shush, Chrysi.”
  30. 31. “ We're still missing Natalie. She was the one who influenced me to kiss Ocean.”
  31. 32. “ Sure, blame it on Natalie. Real mature, Hummingbird.” “ But it's true!” “ Even if it is true, which I highly doubt, you didn't have to listen to her. And it takes two to tango. Ocean, you weren't exactly stopping her.”
  32. 33. “ Okay, you're right. But Natalie's a witch! She could have put a spell on me or something!”
  33. 34. “ There is a spell that makes one more likely to accept social interactions. But I think we should start with Natalie influencing Hummingbird. You can reject an influence, you know. But you didn't.”
  34. 35. “ Okay, so I didn't reject it. I'm a romance sim, what did you expect me to do?” “ You're a romance sim for a reason, Hummingbird.”
  35. 36. “ Can you blame me for wanting some attention after being locked up in my room my whole life?”
  36. 37. “ Can you blame me for wanting men in my life who cared about me when my own father was too ashamed and embarrassed by me to let me show my face in public?”
  37. 38. “ I'm sorry that my problems had to create problems for others. I'm sorry that I may have ruined your relationship with Ocean. I promise you nothing like this will ever happen again.”
  38. 39. “ Now for Ocean's part in all this. Did you feel tingly- almost painfully tingly, it's really hard to miss- before the kiss?”
  39. 40. “ Not really.” “ So it wasn't a spell.” “ I guess not. In that case, I'm really sorry Chrysanthemum, and I know I don't deserve you but will you still marry me anyway?”
  40. 41. “ ...” “ Chrysanthemum?”
  41. 42. “ What should I do? I mean, I was happy with Ocean... but can I trust him?”
  42. 43. “ One more chance. But if you slip up again...” “ I promise I won't.” “ Good.”
  43. 44. Damn. Otieno's done it again.
  44. 45. And the creator's right. Even though she prefers us to find our future mate in college, she'd get her one in adulthood if necessary. Chrysanthemum knows lots of people from working at the shop, too.
  45. 46. You can outsmart her. She promised she wouldn't interfere when she started this legacy... As my dad always said, “keep your goal in sight”. Easy enough. My goal is too...
  46. 47. Of course! I can still make this work, I just need to convince Chrysanthemum to still let me stay with her...
  47. 48. “ Oh, there you are Natalie. Now that I'm back with Ocean, I think I'll just get my own place with him. You understand, right?” “ Of course.” “ Oh, and in the future...”
  48. 49. “ Don't influence people to kiss my fiancee!”
  49. 50. Aaaaarrrggghhh!
  50. 51. To: Tosha <toshago56@hotmail.com> From: A. B. <ls381@hotmail.com> Subject: Re: College You've done a good job getting it over here.
  51. 52. The plan worked.
  52. 53. Now there's no one to stand in my way.
  53. 54. Wait for further instructions.
  54. 55. A. B. _____ Sorry I killed your simself, puddinroy.
  55. 56. “ Thanks for coming, Spencer.” “ Of course I'd come. Now, what's bothering you?”
  56. 57. “ You know that I'm a romance sim, right?” “ Of course.” “ Well, I kinda of slept with two other guys and kissed this other one who was my cousin's fiancee and...”
  57. 58. “ I'm really sorry. Can you forgive me?”
  58. 59. “ Well, while we're confessing things, I have something of my own to say. Sit, get comfortable. This may take a while.”
  59. 60. “ Well? What's the story?”
  60. 61. “ Hi Erin.” “ Hey Owl. You wanted to talk to me about something?”
  61. 62. “ Yeah. Well, it's kind of about those turn-ons you have...” “ If it really bothers you, I'll buy a ReNuYu porta-chug.”
  62. 63. “ Really?” “ Yeah. I don't like my turn-ons, either. Make me seem lesbian. It sucks having your turn-ons and turn-offs randomized for you.”
  63. 64. “ There's a catch, though.” “ Oh? What?” “ I want to see if we can get a three-bolter out of this, and just me doing the ReNuYu thing might not be enough. I know you like brown hair, so if we aren't three bolts after I change my turn-ons you'll have to change that turn-on to black hair.”
  64. 65. “ Easy enough.”
  65. 66. “ Drake!” “ Hey, Brooke.”
  66. 67. “ Now that the shop is top-level and I finished all those paintings I'm bored again.” “ Why not try for some more badges? Run the business some more and get a gold makeover badge. Take up robot-making or flower-arranging.” “ Nah, I'm saving those for later.”
  67. 68. “ Maybe you can try looking into who your birth parents were, then.”
  68. 69. “ Hey, that's actually a pretty good idea!” “ I'll help you, of course. I want to be a criminal mastermind, so I took the time to learn a couple unusual skills- find any locks that need to be picked or any computers that need hacking, just tell me.”
  69. 70. “ I'll be sure to remember that.”
  70. 71. “ Hey, Mom!” “ Hi Poplar. How's everything?”
  71. 72. “ Great! We've almost graduated.” “ Good. Summa cum laude, I assume?”
  72. 73. “ Yep!” “ Great. Poplar, are there any good hotels in River Cove?”
  73. 74. “ No, but I think they just built one in Clearview. Why?” “ Your father and I decided to come visit you and Chrysanthemum!”
  74. 75. “ Great news everyone! Mom and Dad are visiting!”
  75. 76. A graduation montage: I am unwritten, Can't read my mind I'm undefined I'm just beginning

  99. 100. The end! Yep, college is finally over. Next time everyone will be at the main hood!
