  22. 22. Creating New Breakout Room <ul><li>Once user has gained moderator privileges </li></ul><ul><li>Select your name (by highlighting it) </li></ul><ul><li>Right click </li></ul><ul><li>Scroll down to 4 th option </li></ul><ul><li>User will be prompted to name the room </li></ul>

Moving Participants to/from Rooms <ul><li>Select the participants name (by highlighting) </li></ul><ul><li>Right click for menu </li></ul><ul><li>Scroll to 7 th option “Send to Breakout Room” </li></ul><ul><li>To select more than one participant hold the “crtl” key and highlight the participant’s name </li></ul>

Once Participant is in Your Room <ul><li>During set up of the breakout room, it is necessary to select the “follow moderator” option </li></ul><ul><li>Otherwise participant will not be able to see the screen(s) </li></ul><ul><li>If “follow moderator” option is not selected the top menu is pink </li></ul>
  25. 26. Moving Around in the Room <ul><li>From the top menu chose the drop down bar </li></ul><ul><li>Select the screen to go to </li></ul>

A Few Final Notes <ul><li>Selecting certain participants to sent text messages to </li></ul><ul><li>Sending a pop up announcement </li></ul><ul><li>Hit microphone button to speak </li></ul><ul><li>Most Important : Disconnect from the session by clicking the blue symbol at the bottom left most corner of elluminate </li></ul><ul><li>Clicking the “x” or close of elluminate session does not guarantee disconnection </li></ul>
