Deliberate Practice</li></li></ul><li>In Theory… <br />Wolfpack Season = 3 Hours X 3 Days X 11 Weeks X 6 Years = 594 Hours<br />7th and 8th Grade = 3 Hours X 6 Days X 9 Weeks X 2 Years = 324 Hours<br />9th – 12th Grade = 4 Hours X 6 Days X 11 Weeks X 4 Years = 1056 Hours<br />Freestyle = 2 Hours X 3 Days X 20 Weeks = 120 Hours Per Year<br />

  10. 10. 1)Deliberate practice is designed specifically to improve performance. The key word is &quot;designed.&quot; The essence of deliberate practice is continually stretching an individual just beyond his or her current abilities. That may sound obvious, but most of us don&apos;t do it in the activities we think of as practice. At the driving range or at the piano, most of us are just doing what we&apos;ve done before and hoping to maintain the level of performance that we probably reached long ago.<br />
