Work on Measurement Methodologies• Different levels of analysis: – Environmental footprint of ICT products and services – Environmental footprint of ICT deployment in buildings, transport, energy grids • i.e. environmental cost-benefit analysis – Environmental footprint of ICT in organizations and cities• ITU-T delivers the core of these methodologies• Importance of coherence / compatibility with other standardisation efforts or MS initiatives at each level (e.g. ISO, ETSI, IEC, PAS2050, Bilan Carbone)• Importance of consistency to aggregate results at different levels e.g. grids, buildings, companies contributing to cities’ footprint 13
