  9. 9. Acne usually begins with blackheads and whiteheads . Start preventing acne by solving skin congestion
  10. 10. Here are some top tips to help you to treat and prevent acne.
  11. 11. Choose products that are non-comedogenic and free of below ingredients: Lanolin: Fragrance: Artificial fragrances can increase acne infections. Mineral Oil: This oil has been shown to cause and exacerbate acne. This is a fatty substance obtained from sheep’s wool. It has moisturizing properties, but has pore-clogging capabilities as well.
  12. 12. Choose a light moisturizer with a hyaluronic acid base instead of rich moisturizer which contributing to further congestion
  13. 13. Keep makeup as light as possible and use makeup only when absolutely necessary. Always use oil free foundation and other make up products to prevent blockage
  14. 14. Limit UV exposure or apply triple layers of sunscreens with at least a SPF 30 to prevent excess UV exposure which can thicken the epidermis and cause follicular blockage
  15. 15. Exercise to flush out unnecessary toxins and drink several glasses of water daily to replenish your skin.
  16. 16. Get sufficient and quality sleep for 8 hours per day as insufficient sleep contributes to hormonal imbalance and hence production of more sebum resulting in aggravation of acne breakouts.
