President Bush info<br />George Bush was the 43rd president of the US. <br />His highest approval rating was 90%<br />This was because of his response on the terrorist attacks<br />He also signed a 1.35 billion tax cut in his first term<br />His first term was dedicated to taxes and terrorism<br />In his second term he dedicated it to social security:<br />Limiting benefits for rich retired people<br />Making the retirement age higher<br />

President Obama info<br />Temporarily suspended taxes on unemployment<br />Tax bills have hit their lowest since 1950. <br />Gave money to strengthen hospital preparedness and emergency response <br />Gave $77 Billion for rebuilding to strengthen Elementary education.<br />Created a $26 billion state aid package that saved 160,000 teacher jobs<br />

  6. 6. Compare<br />Both:<br />Had at least 50 percent of the vote<br />The most electoral votes<br />60,000,000 in votes<br />These are the most obvious things that stick out between these men. In my opinion, both them talked the right talk and they both won. The key components to winning are the three right here. That’s is why they both own.<br />

Contrast<br />One was Republican and the other is Democrat<br />Obama had way more electoral votes than Bush<br />Bush had an Independent opponent (Nader)<br />Obama, in my opinion won way more handily, than Bush. Even though Bush had Nader in the race too, he only had 411,000 votes. Obama also had way more electoral votes, and by a long shot.<br />
