Objective: TSW demonstrate their understanding of two- point perspective by drawing a variety of toys in perspective

Students are assessed on the technical accuracy of their perspective drawing, the creative interpretation of the theme, and level of artistry.
4. Opening Hook:
TSW watch a Youtube Video on how to draw in two-point perspective.
5. Instructional Strategies/Student Activities:
1. TSW create an original composition that demonstrates correct perspective, overlapping forms, an creative use of toys.
2. TSW photograph their original compositions
3. TSW draw from direct observation of their photographs using pencil
4. TSW outline their drawings in extra-fine permanent marker
5. TSW color their drawings, making sure to show a light source.
6. Materials/Resources:
* a variety of toys including blocks, Legos, playing cards, dice, jacks, chess pieces, etc.
* Clip art packets depicting toys photographed in perspective
* grid rulers
* 12 x 16: white paper

Final assessment is done by the s’s peers. When finished the Drawings will be put on display, they will be viewed as a very difficult and complex endeavor, at least to those who do not understand how they were created.
