ETP Program Overview - Single Employer Contracts and Multiple Employer funded Contracts - Funding for training of incumbent and dislocated workers and individuals with recently exhausted UI benefits - Targeted support of underserved populations including Veterans, At-risk youth, Ex- offenders Clean Energy Workforce Training Program

CEWTP Partnership The Clean Energy Workforce Training Program is CEC and ETP partnership supporting green job skills development in: – Energy and Water Efficiency – Renewable Energy (distributed generation and utility scale) CEWTP Projects funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Clean Energy Workforce Training Program

CEWTP Funding Status ETP has approved 15 Agreements (estimated @$4.5M) Certification-focused Topics Include: LEED (GA, AP and EBOM) HERS (I and II) NABCEP Building Performance Institute American Wind Energy Association International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials Clean Energy Workforce Training Program

Approved CEWTP Agreements California and Nevada Labor Management Cooperation Trust $404,683 – 201 New Hire / 94 Retrainees – 50-120 Hours of Training per Trainee – Journey-Level Electricians – Training will include Advanced Lighting Controls technologies. Onni, Inc. dba GreenPlumbersUSA $353,368 – 47 New Hires and 66 Retrainees – 8-41 Hours of Training per Trainee – Plumber (Journey-Level), Plumber Manager & Supervisor, Plumbing Contractor, and Water/Energy Auditor – Training will include IAPMO-based topics including water efficiency, re-use and recycling in addition to other job-skills topics. Approved CEWTP Agreements Santa Monica Community College District $353,368 – 362 Retrainees – 24-200 Hours of Training per Trainee – Various in solar, building efficiency and green construction – Training will include PV System Installation, Water Efficient Building and Retrofits in addition to other job-skills topics. California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO $749,203 – 687 New Hire and 247 Retrainees – 24-200 Hours of Training per Trainee – Journey-Level Electricians, Sheet Metal, Plumbers, Laborers (including Weatherization Technicians and Auditors) – Training will include Green Building Skills curriculum topics developed in conjunction with the State Building & Construction Trades Council of California.
