  3. 3. Formidable<br />Adjective<br />Causing fear, dread, awe or admiration as a result of size, strength, power, or some other impressive quality.<br />I was frightened of the dog because of its formidable bark.<br />
  4. 4. Guile<br />Noun<br />Slyness; craftiness; skillful deception<br />Weak and timid, a chipmunk has only two defenses: speed and guile.<br />
  5. 5. Ponderous<br />Adjective<br />Having great weight or bulk; heavy<br />The workers used ramps and oxen to move the ponderous boulders.<br />
  6. 6. Profusion<br />Noun<br />Plentiful amount; abundance<br />We made many jars of pear jam because we had a profusion of pears.<br />
  7. 7. Valor<br />Noun<br />Great courage, especially in battle<br />Climbers who climb great peaks need skill as well as valor.<br />
