Nana Hovhannisyan is Human Recourses Director, Member of the Executive Board
“Unibank” CJSC.
Member of the Board in HR association of Armenia.
Nana has more than 12 years of work experience in Human Resources.
Prior joining to Unibank in 2011, she was the Head of Beeline University Armenia (the
corporate University of ArmenTel CJSC), which was founded in 2008 as the first Corporate
University in Armenia.
Before joining to ArmenTel, Nana had over five years of experience with Marriott
International as the Training Manager. As a Member of Marriott International Manager
Trainer Network she trained managers in different countries. Nana holds MBA degree from

Deiric McCann is Executive Vice President- International, Profiles International. Deiric has been
worked with Profiles International since 1998.
He has spent almost all of his working career in sales, marketing, and Human Resource leadership
positions. After several years in high technology with Unisys Computers and Hewlett Packard he
ran his own large account sales consultancy for several years.
His consulting activities brought him into contact with Profiles International 14 years ago – and he
began working with them initially as National Director for Great Britain and Ireland, and for the
last 7 years as Senior VP with responsibility primarily for Profiles’ European operations. Since
being promoted to his present position in 2006, he has worked with a network of 19 national
directors in the European Union and some national directors in Southeast Asia.
Deiric is an avid writer and he has written 4 books: Winning Business Proposals (3 editions since
1994), The Customer Continuum & The Business Bathroom Bible. He also co-authored 40
Strategies for Winning Business and Leadership Charisma (2011). Leadership Charisma
(www.leadership-charisma.com) made it to a rank of 125 in Amazon's global bestseller list.
Over the last 20 years he has also had more than 500 articles published worldwide.
Deiric's real passion is speaking – there’s nothing he loves more than speaking to large groups on
subjects he feels passionate about. He is an energetic, entertaining and motivating speaker. In his
capacity as Profiles International's head of European operations he addresses conferences and
seminars all over the world - an average of twice or three times a month.

13. Givi Chikovani
Conference speech: “Electronic Management of HR”
Givi Chikovani was born in 1991, 24 December. Graduated from Tbilisi high school N55 in
2009. After high school he enrolled in Caucasus University, Caucasus School of Business.
2011-2012 Givi was student of Paris Business School in Paris, France. In 2013 he earned
bachelor in finances. He is self-educated programmer and IT specialist. Starting in 2006 he
has been freelance programmer and web developer. His finished IT projects are spread all
over the Web. In 2011 he launches his own business and is founder and CEO of GM Georgia
LTD. He also owns web-development organization Alive Studio. Givi was politically active
since his adulthood. He simultaneously worked in United National Movement Youth as an
adviser of the board and head of department in 2011-2012.
He participated in dozens of conferences, trainings, seminars and debates. Starting from
Leadership development trainings from AIESEC or Liberal Academy Tbilisi ending to first
regional HR conferences from HR Association of Armenia or National Bank of Georgia. He is
also an organizer of several conferences and seminars from 2011.
Givi is successful participant of Young Leaders XX program (Political Education Courses) in
Robert Schuman Institute in Budapest. In 2013 he, with like-minded people founded nongovernment organization Third Millennium. He is author of an idea and head of an active
project called Nx. He is promoting ideas of freedom, public speaking and debates. Givi with

14. Mārtiņš Vecvanags

Mr. Vecvanags has obtained over 15 years of management experience in different companies and
countries – Poland, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Baltic’s. He has created successful companies
from scratch in Baltic’s as well as South Caucasus. In period between years 2007 – 2010 Martins has
performed crisis and change management projects, for example in 2009 he was hired to save
company generating constant loss, which had accumulated into several lost millions of euro.
Company reached profitability within one year after start of restructuring. He has managed large and
multi-national companies with up to 1000 employees and annual turnover of sales volume above 150
million EUR. He has worked in several leading organizations of its field and region: Procter &

Music therapy is a psychotherapeutic technique in which music is used within a therapeutic relationship to

playing, singing, moving, and listening to music. Through musical involvement in the therapeutic
context, the client's abilities and skills are strengthened and transferred to other areas of his or her life.

Yekaterina Mamaeva has been heading Core Business Services in EY (former Ernst
& Young) Armenia since 2008.
As a Performance & Reward Manager Yekaterina leads on EY’s Human Capital
projects in Armenia (Tax Consulting dept., Human Capital, Performance & Reward
group) including HR consulting and labor market researches.
Yekaterina’s fields of expertise include performance management and
improvement, labor compliance, recruiting, compensation and benefits, talent
management, reward and others.

17. Arpi Karapetyan

Arpi Karapetyan is an experienced leader, and a recognized professional in the field of Human Resource
Management in Armenia, a business consultant and a trainer. Prior to starting the private consulting
practice, Arpi acted as a successful Human Resources Manager in leading international companies for
over 15 years. In 2008 in response to market demand for western oriented HR consultancy services Arpi
has founded Cascade Consultants a company providing one stop HRM solutions in Armenia, where
currently holds the position of the General Director. Arpi’s professional portfolio includes an extensive
experience in insurance, production, telecommunication, mining, retail and other sectors, where she has
been aligning business strategy with HR solutions. Throughout her professional life she has been
involved in developing and implementing novel approaches to recruitment and retention
strategies, employee policies and procedures, managing employee relations, developing competency
frameworks, performance management and measurement systems, compensation and benefits systems
and recognition programs, call-center design and development. She also specializes in areas of personnel
assessment and development, strategy-based organizational adjustments, reorganizations and structural
reengineering, workplace environment and culture. Due to an extensive expertise in executive and
leadership training, she has designed and conducted high impact training programs throughout Armenia
for a wide expanse of leadership competency: knowledge, skills, behaviors as well as effective
communication, customer service, conflict management, motivation for large companies and for dynamic
entrepreneurial firms. The establishment of Armenian HR Association, which currently includes about
40 members from over 25 companies was initiated by Arpi in 2008. Currently she holds a position of the
President of Association.
Additional engagements include: professor at French University in Armenia and RAU Business
School, certified member of UK Institute of Consultants (CI), Strategic Partner of Profiles International in
the region and board member of Armenian Institute of Management Consultants (IMC).
Authoring and Publications: Armenian-English, English-Armenian Human Resources explanatory
dictionary, monograph "Self portrait of Armenians", number of articles related to HRM which have been
published in national magazines and scientific editions.

18. Astghik Sargsyan
Conference speech: “Public Speaking –Tool of HR Influence”
Mrs. Astghik Sargsyan works in the field of HR more than 15 years. At present she is a Head of
Corporate University in one of the largest telecommunication companies. Her career history
includes variety of HR positions: T&D specialist, Corporate trainer, Talent manager, Manager
for individual development, HR manager. However, she considers herself as a professional in
learning and development, talent management, as well as in recruitment.
Astghik is a certified business trainer and conducts trainings for managers and leaders. She
passes leadership trainings in Moscow periodically.
Learning and development in a world known Chartered Institute of Personnel Development
(London) helps her to build up a professional team and outstanding corporate university.
The profession of the psychologist is a solid background for Astghik to deliver coach sessions
and motivational conversations both with subordinates and colleagues. Per se, she considers
that coaching is not what you do, but who you are.
Astghik has a wide experience of business trainings not only in Armenia, but also in
Russia, Kazakhstan and Georgia. She is an author of the training “ Make a fly from an elephant
or Stress management ”, that has been delivered in Russia and Kazakhstan, and the masterclass on positive thinking has been given during various training conferences.
She has developed the theory “HR hierarchy in a Maslow’s hierarchy of needs”, is the author

Hovhannes J. Grigoryan is a head of Institute for Political and Sociological consulting (IPSC). He
studied Sociology in Yerevan, Moscow and Frankfurt, worked in the fields of applied
sociology, monitoring, marketing and project management for around 10 years and has been
teaching theoretical sociology and social survey methodology for 9 years. Hovhannes is
experienced in organization and management, report writing and consulting, high quality
service provision. IPSC was created in 2006 with the aim of making people heard and letting
their opinions considered. Hovhannes is in charge of organizing the IPSC monthly surveys and
polls, managing social survey design and implementation, providing consulting and PR
recommendations. He has gathered a professional and motivated team, who transform the
IPSC vision into reality on a day-to-day basis. Throughout his work in IPSC Hovhannes directed
multiple projects on politics, education, marketing, health care, business
development, telecom and HR. The latter include projects for large companies on HR

Anna Stepanyan, Data Manager, (IPSC).She has PhD in Psychophysiology from Armenian
National Academy of Sciences. She holds both her M.A. and B.A. degrees in Biology, Human &
Animal Physiology. From 2001 till 2012 she worked as a researcher, invited lecturer and
assistant professor at the Faculty of Philosophy & Psychology of YSU. In IPSC Anna is in charge
of coordinating projects’ implementation, questionnaire design and organization, data
