You should write it in your notes IN YOUR OWN WORDS. </li></ul><ul><li>Anything in red (STOP and pay close attention) is critical information and should be copied exactly. </li></ul><ul><li>Anything in green (go on to the next point) you do not have to write. </li></ul><ul><li>Any time you see a video with no text it is your responsibility to write notes for it. </li></ul>
  2. 3. 3 Reasons to Love History <ul><li>1. If you don’t know history, you don’t know your world or your culture. </li></ul><ul><li>2. History is story time all the time! </li></ul><ul><li>3. History is who we were, who we are and who we will be. </li></ul>

  4. 5. You see, Rafiki knows… <ul><li>“ Ah yes, the past CAN hurt, but as I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it.” </li></ul><ul><li>Rafiki is a cartoon monkey and he knows this and you’re smarter than a cartoon monkey right?! </li></ul>

  6. 8. The smallest decision can change the world. That is what history is all about.
  7. 9. Fine, but I’m only in 7 th grade, I can’t change the world. Sure you can. But even if you don’t, at least you don’t want to be like this do you…?
  8. 11. We’d all agree, that’s pretty bad. But I have even worse news… Some of the adult world sees you like this…
  9. 13. Luckily, history is fun. That’s because history is all about the story.
