2. Why turn off the messaging on Wikispaces?
It’s a choice that every teacher needs to make for their own
classroom. After a bad experience with students bullying
other students through our classroom Wikispace account, I
chose to turn off the messaging features. It is difficult to
monitor! Students have so many ways to communicate, that
they don’t even need this.
This is time consuming but I think it is well worth it.

3. Sign in to Wikispaces
using a student
account.

4. Click Settings

5. Scroll down to Settings

6. Settings

7. Allow Private messages from – No one
Email Private
Message -
No

8. Finished!
