This is a slide show of a lesson I would present to my students to make animal presentations using appropriate creative commons and copyright laws. I have included several links and videos to assist them.

  1. 1. Animal Presentations You will use FlickR, a custom search engine, and PowerPoint to create animal presentations.
  2. 2. Steps (p.1) <ul><li>Choose the animal you would like to research. </li></ul><ul><li>Follow this link to start your research Take notes about your animal in your science journal. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Steps (p.2) <ul><li>Create a power point, as we have done in the past to present your presentation. (any questions about power point please see me) </li></ul>

Your Power Point should include the following slides: <ul><li>Cover page with animal picture and name. </li></ul><ul><li>Short description of your animal with picture </li></ul><ul><li>Animal Habitat with picture </li></ul><ul><li>Animal Diet with picture </li></ul><ul><li>Cool facts about your animal with pictures </li></ul><ul><li>Finally tell me why you chose this animal </li></ul>

  6. 6. Learn about Copyright <ul><li>Go to this website and explore to learn about copyright rules. </li></ul><ul><li>Take the copyright quiz and record your score in your Science journal along with your animal notes to be collected at the end of this assignment. </li></ul>
