Asynchronous communication:<br />E-notes posted to LMS<br />Teacher with pen-based tablet PC writes into Microsoft Journal and projects on front screen to students<br />Students download e-notes from LMS:<br />Options:<br /> 1) Write on paper - collect in a binder<br /> 2) Personal tablet - write into Microsoft Journal<br /> 3) Personal laptop/Wacom bamboo tablet -write into<br /> Word 2007 (review – start inking)<br />

Student Response<br />“…I actually did my work and it was done right and organized which helped for studying.”<br />“…I tend to pay attention more thus doing better in work and tests”<br />“…students can share answers anonymously, we can correct each other’s work.” <br />“I found that the shy students were more comfortable participating through the tablet and shared control in dyknow than standing up and speaking”.<br />
