  4. 4. DOS Do remember that the interview is also an important timefor you to evaluate the interviewer and the company sherepresents. Do always conduct yourself as if you are determined to getthe job you are discussing. Never close the door on anopportunity until you are sure about it.
  5. 5. DOS Do write thank you letters within 24 hours to each personwho interviewed you. . Do take a practice run to the location where you are havingthe interview -- or otherwise be sure you know exactly where itis and how long it takes to get there.
  6. 6. DOSKnow the exact time and location of yourinterview; know how long it takes to getthere, park, find a rest room to freshen up, etc.Treat the interview seriously and as though youare truly interested in the employer and theopportunity presented.
  7. 7. DONT`S
  8. 8. DONT´SDont allow your cell phone to sound during theinterview. (If it does, apologize quickly and ignoreit.) Dont take a cell phone call. Dont look at a textmessage.
  9. 9. DONTSDont go to extremes with your posture;dont slouch, and dont sit rigidly on the edgeof your chair.
  10. 10. DONTSDont be unprepared for typical interviewquestions. You may not be asked all of them inevery interview, but being unprepared will not helpyou.
  11. 11. DONTSDont give the impression you are only interestedin salary; dont ask about salary and benefits issuesuntil the subject is brought up by your interviewer.
