So what does a Next Generation API Platform looks like?
It’s no longer news that API-led architectures are now prevalent in the vast majority of digital solutions and that they are perhaps the most fundamental enabler of a digital strategy. What is rarely discussed though, is the rapid evolution of the technologies, platforms and even the architectural styles surrounding the full lifecycle of APIs. In this presentation I’ll talk about how API platforms and related technologies have and continue to evolve into the next generation of APIs. I’ll also talk about the implications that this may have to existing and/or on-going API initiatives, and how potential risks/issues may be mitigated by making the right choices up-front.
