  2. 2. Declaration of Independence <ul><li>Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. </li></ul><ul><li>Virginia’s Declaration of Rights influenced Jefferson to write the opening lines on the Declaration of Independence. </li></ul><ul><li>Thomas Jefferson was an inventor. </li></ul>
  3. 3. The Pursuit of Happiness Means <ul><li>The phrase Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness came from The Declaration of Independence written by Thomas Jefferson. </li></ul><ul><li>The Pursuit of Happiness means to be equally free and independent. </li></ul>

  5. 5. Where I Get My Education… <ul><li>I go to Calvine High School </li></ul><ul><li>The teachers are cool, they are also very understanding. </li></ul><ul><li>The students that go here are nice and I get along with most people. </li></ul>

Something I Love To Do <ul><li>I love to look toward the future and set goals for myself. </li></ul><ul><li>Many people inspire me and I love to dance. </li></ul><ul><li>My sister is my role model. </li></ul><ul><li>My father is encouraging me to graduate and pushing me toward my future and to pursue my career. </li></ul>
  7. 7. The Best Thing About Me… <ul><li>I love to cook and bake. </li></ul><ul><li>I always have a smile on my face. </li></ul><ul><li>Also my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. </li></ul><ul><li>My favorite activity is shopping. </li></ul>
  8. 8. If I Ran For President… <ul><li>If I ran for president I would give everybody a brand new car of the ages 18 and over. </li></ul><ul><li>Also, I would let everyone have the right to talk on their cell phones while driving. </li></ul>
  9. 9. Most Important Individual Right <ul><li>The most important individual right is the First Amendment to the Constitution. </li></ul><ul><li>Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Expression, and Freedom of Assembly. </li></ul>
  10. 10. Citizen’s Responsibilities Are… <ul><li>Obey all government laws that do not conflict with God’s laws and/or our conscience while disobeying government laws that conflict. </li></ul><ul><li>Taking personal responsibility for completely supporting ourselves so that we never become a burden to either the government or our fellow citizens who support the government. </li></ul>

What We Can Do To Make The World A Better Place… <ul><li>Use products that will help in sustaining a healthy planet </li></ul><ul><li>By recycling the containers that our products come in and urging companies to use more Recyclable packaging. </li></ul><ul><li>By spreading the ideals of love and peace and the oneness of humanity </li></ul><ul><li>By accepting the diversity of the human species and acknowleging that we are all brothers and sisters. </li></ul>
  12. 12. My Future <ul><li>In 5 years I see myself opening up my own bakery shop. </li></ul><ul><li>After High School I’m going to Culinary School. </li></ul>
