Gender discrimination caleb lefeber
 The unfair treatment of a person based
    on his or her gender.
 People, mostly women, are being
judged or treated unfairly just because
of there gender. Which causes lower
pay, sexual harassment, simply not being
hired for certain jobs, may get fired for
unfair reasons, not getting promoted or a
    raise, and some more.
As you can see in this picture many women have lower salaries than men, even if
the both have the same jobs as one another, but just because she is a girl boss’
think its okay to pay women less than men. Sometimes one woman may have
worked in one company for a long period of time and a man just got hired a
month ago for the exact same job, but yet he is making more than the woman.

Women will apply for jobs, but just because she is a girl she might not get the job,
and then a guy will get the job. A guy will get the job even if the guy doesn’t have
any experience, and the girl does, he has bad qualifications, and the girl has good
qualifications. But since she is a girl she doesn’t get the job and the guy does.

Now a woman was working for a job, the job wasn’t making much money and
they had to cut someone. The woman may have been working there for ten’s of
years, and there is another guy who has been working there for less then a year,
who is being paid more, and is worse of an employee, but yet the girl got fired and
the guy didn’t.
For promotion there will be women working there for plenty of years, who do there
job really good. But they don't get promoted, but then there will be a guy who
hasn’t been working for along time and he will get promoted and the girl wont.
 As you can see there are many ways
    gender discrimination come into affect.
You may also see that most of the
    gender discrimination is the
    discrimination of women, not men.
Mostly there is gender discrimination for
jobs than anything else, there is other
ways of this problem I didn’t put in here
such as rape... But what solutions are
    there for this problem…?
 The law forbids discrimination when it comes to any aspect of employment,
including hiring, firing, pay, job assignments, promotions, layoff, training,
fringe benefits, and any other term or condition of employment.
 There is a law for gender discrimination, but that doesn’t stop companies
from discrimination of a certain sex, usually a woman. There is still gender
discrimination everyday, if its rape or if it’s a person not getting a job
    because of there sex.
 There is not much solutions for the problems of gender discrimination since
there is already a law for it. But simply women should be able to get or to do
a job that a guy can do, just because she is a girl doesn’t mean she cant do
the same job a man can do, they have the same compatibility as men. So
why treat women different than men. All the bosses need to do is just give
the women a chance, if they have the same experience as men, give them
a raise, it wont affect you that much.
 Don’t judge a books by its cover.
