26. Brigid Marlin was born in Washington, D.C.(1936). She
studied painting and sculpture in Dublin, Paris and New
York. In 1966 she went to Vienna to learn the ‘Mische’
technique, a process of painting which was the secret
method of the Italian Renaissance painters, and revived
after painstaking research by Professor Ernst Fuchs. In
2010 she took up sculpture, studying with Derek Haworth,
a pupil of Henry Moore at his Atelier in Radlett.
Brigid Marlin nació en Washington, D.C.(1936). Estudió
pintura y escultura en Dublín, París y Nueva York. En
1966 se fue a Viena para aprender la técnica de "Mische ',
un proceso de pintura que era el método secreto de los
pintores del Renacimiento italiano, y revivido después de
una cuidadosa investigación por el profesor Ernst Fuchs.
En 2010 tomó la escultura, estudiando con Derek
Haworth, un alumno de Henry Moore en su Atelier en
Radlett.
