Susan always provides practical and usefulinformation, steps and clearly identifies the requirements for employers as it related to Accessibility. Weare also fortunate to have Mark Wafer, Tim Hortons Franchisee and Joe Dale, project Manager at Rotaryat Work who will facilitate a presentation on employing people with disabilities.Mark Wafer is a Panel Member on the Federal Labour Market Opportunities for People With Disabilities.For more information about the Panels activities or to view their recently released report:http://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2013/rhdcc-hrsdc/HS64-21-2013-eng.pdfMr. Mark Wafer is the owner of six Tim Hortons locations in Toronto. Mr. Wafer and his wife Valarie haveemployed 84 people who have a disability over the past 18 years. There are currently 35 employees withdisabilities in all areas of their business, from entry-level positions to logistics, production andmanagement. Dont miss April 18, this will be a very informative presentation that all HR professionals and business partners will benefit from! The cost of dinner is $30.00 for non-members and $20.00 for student members. NO Show Policy: Members will be invoiced if they register and do not provide 48 hours cancellation notice. Members will be allowed one "exception" per year. All non members will be invoiced if 48 hours notice is not received.
