  14. 14.<br />Pythian is a database expertise and consulting company that operates on a tailored consulting approach. <br />In order to boost sales, strategically leverage marketing forces, and optimize its online potential Pythian approached bv02. <br />bv02strategy included the strategic development of the site<br />through its structure, design, and<br />the utilization of a variety of social media tools. <br />This web site was developed using<br />ExpressionEngine CMS. This ensured that the Pythian sales and marketing personnel were able to effortlessly manage and update content to better service their clients.<br />bv02 also utilized ExpressionEngine to streamline and improve the user experience, making navigation consistent and intuitive, and simplifying the look and feel of the website to allow meaningful ‘at a glance’ connections for all stakeholders from the homepage, and further exploration of all pages<br /> all rights reserved 2009<br />

  24. 24. Pythian: Experience Garnered<br /> Blog transfer:  <br /> bv02 helped the Pythian team migrate and re-skin a large high traffic blog. During this process bv02 ran into issues with the multiple versions of the databases used by Pythian. <br /> bv02 was actually able to reveal that the backup system put in place by Pythian wasn't functioning as planned. Once the version issues were corrected a full blog migration for thousands of posts and comments was completed without problems.<br /> all rights reserved 2009<br />

Pythian: Experience Garnered<br />Security requirements: Required a unique approach. <br />During the Pythian website migration bv02 was responsible to ensure that no traffic was lost when the new website went live. <br />bv02 planned and executed a thorough re-direct strategy to ensure that all users who may still visit the old website addresses would be sent to the appropriate page on the new website. With this plan in place, the Pythian launch lost no traffic, or search engine ranking - and successfully gained in both ranking and traffic post-launch.<br /> all rights reserved 2009<br />
